SHELTON, Wash. —
Authorities say a man has died while scuba diving in the Hood Canal near Shelton.
The victim, 56-year-old Todd Randall MacDonald, of Vancouver, had been diving with a group near Hoodsport when he died Sunday. The Mason County Coroner’s Office has not yet determined his cause of death. An autopsy has been scheduled for this week.
Emergency personnel had responded to the area after a report that the man had surfaced while unconscious.
An investigation into the death is ongoing.
